Argentina - Elections and Reflections with UK Ambassador, John Freeman

Canning House is delighted to welcome the British Ambassador to Argentina, His Excellency John Freeman, to give a round-table briefing for corporate members. Ambassador Freeman's returning visit to the UK is timely as he will be able to provide a first-hand insight into the Argentine presidential election process, and the political, economic and business-related implications of its results.

John has been British ambassador to Argentina since June 2012. He joined the Foreign and Commonwealth Office in 1986. John has previously served in a wide range of appointments in London and overseas dealing with countries as varied as South Africa, Central and Eastern Europe, and Singapore; and with a wide range of international issues, including non-proliferation, international terrorism, and drugs policy. He has also covered economic and commercial issues in Posts overseas.
