Class of 2018: Are Latin America’s newly elected governments making a difference… yet?

  • Committee Room 10, Palace of Westminster, London SW1A 0AA
  • 18.15-20.00

Canning House invites a panel to discuss what progress Latin America’s crop of new leaders have made since being elected last year, and present the findings of the latest Canning Paper.

Canning House invites a panel to discuss what progress Latin America’s crop of new leaders have made since being elected last year. Which campaign promises have they delivered on? What policy initiatives are being developed to tackle the perennial problems that have plagued previous administrations? Where has change been slowest?

The latest Canning Paper will also be presented, which examines the impact these power shifts have had on businesses in particular. Join us on June 5 in Parliament with the APPG for Latin America.

The event will be chaired by Cristina Cortes, Canning House CEO.
