Canning House is delighted to welcome Brazilian politician, broadcaster and professor, and Federal Deputy for the State of Rio de Janeiro, Alessandro Molon, to give a round-table briefing.

Mr Molon is involved in discussions related to the political reform and was the rapporteur of the civil rights framework for the internet, or Marco Civil. He is a prominent politician and has been in the spotlight for working towards an open and transparent parliament. He is also linked to the discussions around the Olympics, with his constituency being Rio de Janeiro.

Mr Molon's presentation will focus on the drive towards transparency and reform in Brazilian politics, and how things are faring in the build up to next year's Olympic Games.
