Global Britain and South America Report out now

In autumn 2018, the House of Commons Foreign Affairs Committee launched an inquiry into the effectiveness of the Foreign and Commonwealth Office’s approach towards South America, focusing on political and economic developments in the region, key trading industries, security and human rights, the impact of extractives and climate change on development, intra-regional relations, the role of the FCO in the region, as well as external state actors. 

Canning House provided oral and written evidence for the report, highlighting both the opportunities and barriers to closer relations with the region.
